Welcome Abigail Nelson, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations

The Latin School of Chicago is excited to announce the hiring of alumna Abby Nelson ’99 as the school’s Assistant Director of Development for Alumni Relations.  Abby replaces Mary Barga who served the school and its alumni in this role for four years. 

After graduating from Latin, Abby attended Vanderbilt University, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Classics and French.  Most recently Abby was an Account Executive for Leo Burnett USA. 

On returning to Latin, Abby looks forward to involving alumni in the life of the school, connecting alumni with each other, and educating students about the important role they will play in shaping the school’s future as alumni.
