LPs for YOU!

Remember those albums that covered the wall in Mr. Carey's music room 401?

Those albums can now be yours.  With the construction that will take place and the invention of the CD, it has become impractical for us to store all of the LPs that for so many years we used for our music classes.  We are keeping some, but we can't keep them all.  Rather than leave them for the trash bins, we would like to offer these albums to any members of the Latin Community who would like them.  Most of the collection was donated to the school by legendary Chicago broadcaster, Norman Ross.  Some of the albums still have his notes written in his hand on the record jackets. 

There are several hundred albums and we need to dispose of them no later than November 15th.  If you are interested or if you can suggest someone or some institution who might be interested, please contact Mike Teolis at mteolis@latinschool.org or at (312) 582-6322.
