Latin Responds to Hurricane Katrina

What follows is a letter that Head of School Don Firke e-mailed parents on September 8, 2005, to keep them apprised of what the school is doing both to help students understand the tragedy in our nation's south and to assist those in need.

Dear Latin Parents-

As we all have seen the misery brought by Hurricane Katrina unfold throughout the Gulf States, I am sure that you, like our students and faculty, have wondered about how we, from so far away, can improve the lives of those who have been most deeply affected....
